MaxPumpable is a pumpable ceramic fiber insulation compound formulated from refractory ceramic fibers and specialized binders. It can be applied with diaphragm or piston-extrusion pumps and is suitable for both hot and cold repairs.
Its air-setting formulation dries rapidly at operating temperatures while allowing sufficient working time to fill voids, gaps, and damaged areas. Its lightweight composition and ease of application make it ideal for inaccessible areas where conventional refractory or ceramic fiber products cannot be readily installed.
MaxPumpable is designed for the repair of hot spots in furnaces, heaters, and boilers, often without shutting down the unit, and exhibits excellent wet adhesion to steel, refractory linings, and ceramic fiber insulation.
Two grades are available: MaxPumpable 2300 and MaxPumpable 2600, with classification temperatures of 2300°F (1260°C) and 2600°F (1425°C), respectively.
