CERAMIC BULK FIBER

Engineered Ceramic Bulk Fiber for High-Temperature Environments

NUTEC Bulk & Engineered Fiber Portfolio

A broad range of high-temperature fibers, designed for a variety of industrial and commercial applications including vacuum-formed products, friction, coatings and cements.

Our range comprises Refractory Ceramic Fiber, Low Biopersistent Fibers and Polycrystalline Wool Fibers.

MaxWool® Fibers — High-Temperature Insulation Bulk Fiber

MaxWool® Fiber 2300

High-temperature insulation bulk fiber is produced by melting high-purity alumina and silica raw materials using a spun process. MaxWool Fiber 2300 fibers are used as the base for blankets, moldables, vacuum-formed boards and shapes products.

    2300⁰F (1260⁰C)

  • Chemistry

    Alumina, Silica

  • Composition

    RCF (Refractory Ceramic Fiber)

  • Fiber Index

    45-55

MaxWool® Fiber 2600

High-temperature insulating bulk fiber that, in addition to having the characteristics of MaxWool Fiber 2300 fiber, contains zirconia, which allows it to be used at higher temperatures.

  • Maximum Use Temperature

    2600°F (1425°C)
