NUTEC North Carolina – a Decade of Remarkable Success

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the start of full production at the Huntersville, NC plant operated by NUTEC Inc. Ground was broken in the town in October 2015, signalling a major US investment by NUTEC Group, and a rapid construction phase followed that allowed the plant to begin manufacturing in less than 12 months. Just 20 days after that, the very first commercial truck shipment left the premises.

The original 62,500 square foot advanced manufacturing facility in Huntersville – NUTEC’s first manufacturing plant in the US – quickly established itself as an important center for high-performance industrial insulation products. It was no surprise, therefore, when in 2024 NUTEC responded to growing US demand by constructing a new warehouse on an adjoining site, more than doubling the company’s footprint in Huntersville.

I moved my family from Pittsburgh to Charlotte because I saw what NUTEC was building and I wanted to be a part of it. We may be celebrating 10 years, but we are building for the next 10. The first 10 years were just the beginning!”
