NUTEC Expands its US Operations

NUTEC Inc., the leading provider of high-performance thermal insulation solutions in North America, has made a substantial investment in an expansion of its US headquarters in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Full production commenced in Huntersville in September 2016, and now this new facility more than doubles the size of NUTEC’s presence in the town, a suburb of the city of Charlotte.

Pablo Rangel Cueva, NUTEC Inc.’s US Project Manager, commented: "The new warehouse in Huntersville will significantly improve our logistics operations by providing much-needed, efficient storage space. Being located next door to our existing manufacturing site on Mt Holly-Huntersville Road allows us to streamline our processes and create synergy between the two facilities. In addition, the unit's new office space and conference room will provide a more collaborative environment for our team, enhancing day-to-day operations and communications."

NUTEC manufactures high-temperature insulation in six production facilities around the world (in Mexico, USA, Spain and Brazil), each employing state-of-the art manufacturing and process technologies. These products are crucial for a number of manufacturing sectors, such as metals, ceramics, hydrocarbon processing, power generation, glass, and other industries where high-temperature processes are employed.

In recent years, NUTEC has also developed many products for passive fire protection applications used in the commercial construction, transportation, aerospace and marine industries.
