Dámaso Ortiz Margáin is a Mechanical Engineering Administrator with a degree from the University of Monterrey and an MBA from IPADE Business School, Dámaso Ortiz has over 30 years’ experience in the ceramic fiber high-temperature insulation industry working for NUTEC.
He began his career in ceramic fiber production and maintenance, starting with vacuum-formed products, and later assumed responsibility for the manufacturing operations of ceramic fiber, modules, MacroModules, and value-added products. He has led various NUTEC business units in Mexico and Spain, noted for his strategic vision and operational excellence. Currently, as Commercial Director, he focuses on identifying and developing new market opportunities, consolidating NUTEC's presence in the industry. His expertise has been key in the creation of technical articles that strengthen the company's digital presence.
Christian Tavira qualified as an Industrial Engineer from Saltillo Institute of Technology, specializing in Mechanical Design (Eastfield College), and holds Autodesk professional certification. He also holds a Master's degree in Project Management from the European Postgraduate Institute in conjunction with Rey Juan Carlos University.
With over 14 years’ experience in the industry, he has been involved in project development and management, product design, and technical solutions for industrial thermal insulation applications. His focus is on the use of CAD technologies and heat transfer analysis tools to deliver accurate and efficient solutions.
He currently serves as Manager of Applications Engineering and Technical Support at NUTEC, where he leads support for the sales department and clients, identifying customized thermal solutions that meet the specific needs of each project.
He also contributes as an author to the NUTEC website, developing specialized technical content that reflects his knowledge in thermal design, applications engineering, and industrial project support.
